Founded by Dralandra Larkins — author-poet, award-winning educator, equity consultant, cultural strategist, and social worker whose work lives at the intersection of cultural-stoytelling, and liberation.
Dralandra’s practice as a spoken word performer and author of Before I Lie informs the heart of the agency. She believes that poetry, truth-telling, and cultural memory are not only art forms — they are strategies for equity, visibility, and radical change.
As a cultural architect, Dralandra designs trauma-informed, equity-centered programs that honor Black, Brown, and marginalized voices across Minnesota. Her consulting work spans public institutions, arts organizations, and community-led initiatives — bringing a blend of social work ethics, creativity, strategy, and arts-based healing to build programs that shift how communities learn, heal, and imagine themselves.
Currently, she serves as the Metropolitan Council’s Office of Equity & Equal Opportunity — where she serves as an Equal Opportunity Consultant specializing in inclusive outreach and engagement for (DBE, WBE, TGB, Veteran-certified) small businesses.
